SEATTLE -- A man was stabbed seven times outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Grants Pass, Ore., after an altercation with an antiabortion protester. Police said Wednesday they have not yet made any arrests in connection with the case.
"There may be arrests in the future, but that's still under investigation. There's still people we need to talk to," Lt. Dennis Ward told the Los Angeles Times.
The incident began Tuesday afternoon when Grants Pass resident Kailah Clair, 22, kicked over antiabortion signs that had been placed outside the clinic by a protester, Christopher Tolhurst, according to a police report.
Tolhurst responded by pushing her, officials said, and Clair went home and returned with her father, Ted Clair, who pushed Tolhurst to the ground and punched him several times in the face.
