Scare Tactics: Tracy Morgan hosts this special 3?1/2?-hour marathon of new episodes, featuring hidden-camera pranks with a sci-fi/horror twist (7:30; 8; 8:30; 9; 9:30; 10; 10:30 p.m. Syfy).

The Voice:  The knockout round begins (8 p.m. NBC).

Hawaii Five-0: On Halloween McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and the Five-0 team investigate a gruesome murder with a ritualistic connection and they suspect the killer is about to strike again, in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).

Revolution: Miles (Billy Burke) takes the gang to visit an old acquaintance in hopes of getting medical help for the injured Nora (Daniella Alonso), but the detour takes them into unfriendly territory. Giancarlo Esposito, Tracy Spiridakos, Zak Orth, Graham Rogers and David Lyons also star (10 p.m. NBC).

Castle: Beckett's (Stana Katic) investigation of a gruesome ritualistic murder turns up evidence that links Castle (Nathan Fillion) to the crime in this new episode (10 p.m. ABC).

Independent Lens: The new episode "Love Free or Die" profiles the first openly gay elected bishop (10 p.m. KOCE).


The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia:  This new documentary weaves together narratives of doctors, students, parents and successful professionals to shed new light on the often-misunderstood neurological disorder that hampers the brain's ability to comprehend the written word. Director-producer James Redford, whose son is dyslexic, explores the topic from a variety of perspectives, including medical experts, children with the disorder and professionals who have fought to overcome it (7 p.m. HBO).

The Girl:  Alfred Hitchcock (Toby Jones) obsesses over actress Tippi Hedren (Sienna Miller) while filming the thriller "The Birds," in this 2012 TV docudrama (9 p.m. HBO).

Ethel:  (2012) Filmmaker Rory Kennedy interviews her mother, Ethel Kennedy (10:30 p.m. HBO).


World Series: Game 5: The San Francisco Giants visit the Detroit Tigers (if necessary). (4:30 p.m. Fox).

Football: The San Francisco 49ers visit the Arizona Cardinals (5:30 p.m. ESPN).
