Shave the Date party and pig roast: Pasadena gastropub Kings Row kicks off Movember (grow-a-moustache month in support of men's health) with Shave the Date, offering complimentary shaves on its patio and hosting a pig roast along with sponsor Eagle Rock Brewery. Truffle dinner: There's still time to catch the truffle dinner series at Saam, the chef’s tasting room at the Bazaar by Jose Andres. Think Food Group’s Aitor Lozano and the Bazaar's executive chef Joshua Whigham and sous chef Holly Jivin collaborated with "Truffle Brothers" Michael and Marco Pietroiacovo for a 20-plus-course truffle menu.
