Bo Pelini has been cleared to be a grumpy football coach again after he was taken to the hospital during Nebraska's game on Saturday against Arkansas State.

"I'm as healthy as can be," Pelini told reporters during his Monday press conference in Lincoln. "You guys are going to be stuck with me for a while."

Pelini, 44, said he has been given a clean bill of health. He said he started feeling ill about an hour before Saturday's game. He was not having chest pains but was experiencing heartburn that led to dizziness.

"To be honest with you, it alarmed me a little bit," he said.

Doctors were concerned with Pelini's pulse rate at halftime and ordered him to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Pelini said Monday he has not been ordered to cut back on his workload. He typically runs four miles a day.

Nebraska won Saturday's game, 42-13, and this week faces Idaho State.
