Watch Packers' M.D. Jennings discuss controversial final play

September 25, 2012|By Chuck Schilken

Jennings was surprisingly upbeat when talking to reporters following the bizarre ending to the game, during which his apparent interception in the end zone on the final play instead was ruled a game-winning touchdown by Seattle receiver Golden Tate. The result was a 14-12 Seahawks victory, dropping the Packers to 1-2.

When asked if he made a clean catch of the ball, Jennings responded, "Yeah, yeah, most definitely."

Yet he refused to partake in the ref-bashing trend that seems to be sweeping the nation.

"I'm not going to get into that," he said. "I'll let the league take care of that. I try not to worry about that, just worry about things I can control."
