Korean pop star Psy and his "Gangnam Style" are inspiring a number of business endeavors, including some in the world of fashion, such as a collaboration of some kind with Jill Sturt New York. A video melding the two — with the great motto "Dance cheesy, dress classy" — was posted online Monday. [Los Angeles Times]

First Lady Michelle Obama wore a plum dress by Diane von Furstenberg to the United Nations to hear President Obama speak Tuesday. The faux wrap frock was topped by a violet coat. She stood out in a sea of suits. [Styleite]

As Paris Fashion Week got underway Tuesday, Joan Rivers explained New York Fashion Week, which took place earlier this month, to Buzzfeed Shift: "Trying to make sense of New York Fashion Week is like trying to make sense of a party at Charlie Sheen's house: tons of beautiful women, lasts for days, and it's a miracle that no one died." Kelly Osbourne reportedly wore $250,000 nail polish to the Emmys. The polish, by Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Azature, supposedly contains 267 carats of crushed diamonds and there is only one bottle of it. Osbourne's tweet about it — saying she was "excited & honored" to be wearing it, made it sound to me like she might not have actually been paying for it. [Yahoo Entertainment]

Tom Ford is happy with the wardrobe he helped design for Daniel Craig to wear as James Bond in "Skyfall," due out Nov. 9. But the elegant suits, tuxes and daywear weren't much of a stretch. "We didn't really modify our suits, as James Bond is a bit like our guy — classic and extremely elegant," Ford says. [British Vogue]

Keija Minor has been named editor-in-chief of Brides magazine, reportedly becoming the first African American to head any of Conde Nast's 18 publications. [Fashionista]
