Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba this week.
The couple, who married on April 4, 2008, took in the sights of Old Havana, visited a school, dined on a rooftop terrace and strolled the fan-filled streets in their island best.
They were mobbed at La Guarida restaurant on Thursday, and police were called to keep fans at bay, People reported.
The power couple declined to answer journalists' questions about their visit to the island nation, but some outlets are reporting that the moguls are there as tourists, though that would be illegal because of the half-century embargo the U.S. has on the Communist country. However, the Miami Herald said Washington has issued special licenses for cultural, religious, academic and other types of visits.
Perhaps Bey has some sway with the Obamas after her performance at the inauguration?

Bey was photographed Thursday carrying a large camera and wearing a short island-print dress and large sunglasses, her braided hair swept into an up-do. Jay-Z strolled the streets with her in a bright polo, shorts and a fedora as he smoked a cigar.
