ASCAP hosts creative black tie. Adidas sells tee for Boston.

Guests at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Hollywood on Wednesday were told that the dress code was "creative black tie." That left a lot of fashion running room, and the musical crowd turned up in such attire as evening gowns and black jeans, Ellen Olivier of Society News L.A. reports. RaeLynn of "The Voice" wore a fun cocktail dress with corset by designers Ani & Ari. [Society News L.A.]

Adidas, which helps sponsor the Boston Marathon, has unveiled a limited edition T-shirt that will be sold to benefit the One Fund Boston, established to help people affected by the bombings on Monday. The shirt bears the slogan "Boston Stands as One," and is to be available for $26.20 on the Adidas and Boston Athletic Assn. websites. All proceeds are earmarked for the One Fund Boston. [WWD]

Time magazine named its 100 most influential people of 2013 and has seven different covers (four will be available on newsstands in the U.S.) featuring some of them. The cover models include music mogul Jay-Z, actress Jennifer Lawrence, Sen. Rand Paul, inventor Elon Musk, Chinese tennis player Li Na, Bollywood star Aamir Khan and Pakistani schoolgirl and educational rights activist Malala Yousafzai. President Obama made the 100 list, too. The fashion world was represented by designers Michael Kors and Jenna Lyons. [Time]

Launer London, whose handbags were favored by the late former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, has experienced a 53% increase in sales of her favorite styles -- the Bellini and the Adagio -- since Thatcher's death April 8. [Telegraph]
