Redlands police were looking for a man who twice followed an 11-year-old girl as she walked to and from a school bus stop, authorities said Monday afternoon.

The man shadowed the girl near Sun Avenue and Columbia Street on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, according to the Redlands Police Department.

In the second incident, the man began asking the girl questions about her school and clothing, police said.

The man was believed to be driving a newer-model black SUV. He is described by police as Latino and in his late 20s to mid-30s. He has black hair, brown eyes, a mustache and yellow teeth, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Chad Mayfield at (909) 798-7671 or the Police Department dispatch center at (909) 798-7681.
