On March 30, 2007, a 150-acre brush fire blackened the Los Angeles skyline. Dozens of Angelenos-- including Archie Tucker -- gathered to take pictures as the blaze eerily made its way to the Hollywood sign.

Tucker shot this image with his Nikon D8400 just a few blocks up from a tunnel at the Griffith Observatory. Though the smoke appears threatening, it was later determined that there was no imminent danger and therefore no damage done to the city's beloved landmark.

Two Illinois teens vacationing in Los Angeles with their parents later confessed to starting the fire.
