Model/actress Amber Heard likes to defy expectations, especially those of Hollywood, it seems."People want to put me in a wedding dress and make me the object of affection, but I'd much rather shoot the gun and save the world," she says in the September issue of Elle. "I've always fought against what was expected of me as much as I could." [Elle]

After several months of being relatively quiet, Lady Gaga is back with a new album due out in November, a new single and an appearance on the cover of V magazine. In the inside shoot,  she wears only a tiny black thong in a couple of photos. Which in her case, doesn't exactly defy expectations. [V]
