The Storm is in fourth place, two games ahead of fifth-place San Antonio for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Storm is led by Tina Thompson, who is averaging 13.1 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. The Sparks are led by Candace Parker, who is averaging 17.7 points and 8.7 rebounds. The Sparks have beaten the Storm in seven of their last eight meetings, dating to last season.
