Angelo's Drive-In: An article in the Aug. 18 California section about a Fresno restaurant facing closure because of the high-speed rail project described the first segment of the project, from Fresno to Madera, as a 130-mile stretch estimated to cost $6 billion. The first segment is from Fresno to Madera, which is about 29 miles. That segment is part of a 130-mile, $6-billion stretch that will eventually link Bakersfield and Madera.

School arts program: An article in the Aug. 18 Arts & Books section about arts education in schools said the Los Angeles Master Chorale taught songwriting to 30,000 local fifth-graders. That is actually the total number of children and adults that engage with all of the chorale's concerts, outreach programs and special events every year. The number of fifth-graders in the songwriting program is 350.

Palms intersection: An article in the Aug. 14 Section A about controversial traffic calming measures in Palms included a map that mislabeled Overland Avenue as Sepulveda Boulevard.

Antihero on TV: A Critic's Notebook in the Aug. 18 Calendar section about the tyranny of the antihero on television said the series "Top of the Lake" was on IFC. It was on Sundance Channel.

"The Patience Stone": An article about "The Patience Stone" in the Aug. 15 Calendar section said the film's star, Golshifteh Farahani, had appeared in Ridley Scott's 2008 thriller "Body of Proof." The title is "Body of Lies."
