Football: Bishop Amat gets five interceptions in win over Santa Margarita

 La Puente Bishop Amat came up with five interceptions and rallied behind quarterback Koa Haynes to knock off Santa Margarita, 38-28.

San Fernando defeated Sierra Canyon, 27-13. Cristian Solano completed 15 of 25 passes for 150 yards and rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns.

San Pedro received 150 yards rushing from Pete Palacios in a 21-0 road victory over Morro Bay.

Harvard-Westlake defeated Loyola, 27-21. Sherman Oaks Notre Dame defeated Mira Costa, 42-6. Chris Colarossi rushed for 192 yards. Alemany defeated Los Osos, 30-7. Crespi won in the debut of Coach Troy Thomas over Taft, 67-0.

Top-ranked St. John Bosco got five TD passes from Josh Rosen in a 40-7 win over Dominguez. He completed 12 of 15 passes for 307 yards. Jaleel Wadood caught four TD passes and finished with six receptions for 138 yards. Shay Fields caught four passes for 148 yards and one touchdown, a 95-yarder.

Mater Dei defeated Upland, 44-13. Canyon Country Canyon upset Westlake, 23-16, making five interceptions.

Oaks Christian outlasted Bakersfield, 51-50. Hart defeated Corona Santiago, 56-49. Tesoro upset La Mirada, 43-14. Jack Savage had two sacks but Servite lost to Bishop Gorman, 41-17.
