Michael Kors' show at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday brought out a Hollywood A-list of a front row: Michael Douglas, Zoe Saldana, Hilary Swank and Jada Pinkett Smith with daughter Willow, along with Broadway star and onetime "30 Rock" guest star Cheyenne Jackson and actress Paz Vega. [Cut]

Los Angeles Times Fashion Critic Booth Moore found the Kors collection a bit rough, terming the aesthetic "haute road crew." [Los Angeles Times]

And Joan Collins, Joan Rivers, Martha Stewart, Star Jones and Carol Alt attended Dennis Basso's fur-heavy show, where guests' bags reportedly were searched before they were allowed to enter Tuesday. A record number of American retail buyers and fashion editors reportedly are heading to London Fashion Week, which starts Friday, to view the fall-winter 2013 collections.
