Gun Violence: This week's run of programs devoted to understanding shootings continues with the new "NOVA" episode "Mind of a Rampage Killer" (9 p.m. KOCE). The new special "The Path to Violence" a look at the Safe School Initiative follows at 10.


Hockey: The Kings visit the Calgary Flames (7 p.m. FSN).

Pro basketball: The Boston Celtics visit the Lakers (7:30 p.m. ESPN and TWSN).
