Fresh off an electrifying performance at the Grammys that boosted sales of his sophomore effort, "Unorthodox Jukebox," Bruno Mars is preparing to embark on a world tour.
The Moonshine Jungle World Tour launches in Washington, D.C. on June 22 and continues across the U.S. through August before heading to Europe in October. Mars will stop in L.A. on July 27 with a show at Staples Center along with British electro-pop darling Ellie Goulding. Goulding and soul-indie pop outfit Fitz & the Tantrums will support him on select dates.
Mars' Grammy performance alongside Sting, Rihanna and Ziggy and Damien Marley gave "Unorthodox Jukebox” a massive jolt of momentum. Having sold 86,000 copies the week after the telecast (up 112% from the week before), the album moved up five spots on the Billboard 200 chart to No. 3.
Tickets for select U.S. dates, including Mars' stop at Staples Center, go on sale March 1. For more information and to see the full itinerary, visit the singer's website.
