Tommy Lee Jones has never been one to suffer fools but he may also not be a fan of Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell's quirky comedy.
Although the 66-year old actor was on hand at Sunday night's Golden Globes to celebrate his film "Lincoln," which was nominated for seven awards, including one for Jones' portrayal of the wigged, limping Thaddeus Stevens, Wiig and Ferrell mocked Jones' other 2012 film, the dramedy "Hope Springs."
During the presentation of the best actress in a drama award, Wiig and Ferrell made up silly plot lines for each of the five nominees' films, including Meryl Streep, who played opposite Jones in a film about an old married couple
"Merial Streep," says Wiig. "It's Hope Springs and she's that sassy sheriff," said Ferrell. The two put their hands on their hips and shout, "I'm Hope Springs," just as the camera cuts to Jones, who looks furious with their bit, while everyone around him is cracking up.
