It's still bone chillingly cold outside and what better way to stay warm than with a bowl of soup? Our Monday morning #Weekendeats chat participants were able to brave the weekend chill with hearty soups. Here are some of the highlights:

Beth Lee from the blog Omgyummy shared a photo of her calamari with spicy garlic and lemon broth, while Mary Allen from the blog 2 Sense LA shared a recipe and photos for her Roman style egg soup, stracciatella.

Sarene Wallace, from the magazine "805 Living" shared a photo for her squash and parsnip soup with sumac and pomegranate molasses, reader Dermie shared a photo of Jerusalem artichoke soup with crispy chorizo and Diablo restaurant in Silver Lake shared a photo of its La Flama Blanca Pazole.

Please join in by tweeting your #Weekendeats at us Monday morning @latimesfood and share your photos with us in our "Weekend Eats" gallery. We'll feature some of the photos here on Daily Dish, so be sure to check back for more #Weekendeats and #Foodporn throughout the week.

Hope to see everyone next Monday morning on Twitter! It's sure to be a drool-worthy good time.
