Fiesta Fridays kicking up again at Mariachi Plaza

January 17, 2013
(Luis Sinco/Los Angeles…)

Music and food. What else do you need? The third Friday of every month, just outside the Mariachi Plaza stop on MTA's Gold Line station, there will be a street fair including the regular Boyle Heights farmers market as well as a rotating cast of musical acts and artists.

Called Fiesta Fridays, it's a project by Moonbridge Productions, which has just opened the MoonPad, a hostel on the square designed for "international artists, travelers and backpackers visiting L.A."

The events run from 5 to 10 p.m. every third Friday of the month, at the corner of 1st Street and Boyle Avenue.
