Tom Reed for Members Only: A tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: Valerie Goodloe ("Gang Girl") (11 a.m. KSCI)

The Carrie Diaries: Carrie's (AnnaSophia Robb) new relationship with Sebastian (Austin Butler) is not going smoothly in this new episode (8 p.m. KTLA).

The Following: Kevin Bacon stars as a burned-out former FBI agent who is called back into action when the notorious serial killer (James Purefoy) in this grisly new thriller (9 p.m. Fox).

Hawaii Five-0:  With an election about to take place, the governor (Richard T. Jones) asks McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and the team to conduct a discreet investigation of a prostitute's murder. Scott Caan also stars in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).

Independent Lens:  The new episode "Beauty Is Embarrassing" chronicles the highs and lows of commercial artist Wayne White as he struggles to find peace and balance between his work and his art (10 p.m. KOCE).


Presidential Inauguration: Coverage of President Barack Obama's second term inauguration will air for most of the morning on broadcast networks and cable news channels (6 a.m. CNN; 6:30 a.m. KABC; 7 a.m. KCBS; KNBC; MSNBC; 7:30 a.m. KTTV; 8 a.m. KOCE; CNBC; FNC; FOXB; 10 a.m. KTLA). CNN will air highlights in "The Presidential Inauguration" (4; 5; 6; 8; 9 p.m.).


Pro basketball: The Indiana Pacers visit the Memphis Grizzlies (10 a.m. ESPN); the Clippers visit the Golden State Warriors (1 p.m. FS Prime); the Lakers visit the Chicago Bulls (6:30 p.m. TNT and TWSN).

College basketball: Cincinnati at Syracuse (12:30 p.m. ESPN); Oklahoma State at Baylor (2:30 p.m. ESPN); Georgetown at Notre Dame (4:30 p.m. ESPN); Texas at Oklahoma (6:30 p.m. ESPN).
