Update: Travis Wear, UCLA's third-leading scorer, missed Saturday's game against Arizona State because of a concussion. He was still awaiting medical clearance Tuesday afternoon. Freshman Shabazz Muhammad, the Bruins' leading scorer, missed Tuesday's practice because of flu symptoms. His availability won't be known until Wednesday. USC is 1-3 since coach Kevin O'Neill was fired, though one loss was in overtime and another was by two points. The Bruins have struggled against teams with an inside presence, and the Trojans have 7-foot Dewayne Dedmon and 7-2 Omar Oraby. UCLA was out-rebounded, 53-33, by Arizona State. Senior forward Eric Wise averages 12.5 points to lead the Trojans.
