Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's Nashville surprise: a wedding!

June 07, 2013|By Christie DZurilla

Well, that was fast — finally! Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are married, after an on-and-off-and-on-again engagement.

"Im officially Kristin Elizabeth Cutler!!!!!," the 26-year-old reality star-turned-designer tweeted Friday a little after 1 p.m. local time in Nashville, including a picture of their wedding bands. (Hers is all diamonds; his is dark and manly.)

They'd only just gotten the marriage license early Friday morning at the Davidson County Clerk's office in Nashville, where the Chicago Bears quarterback, 30, attended Vanderbilt University, TMZ reported.

Early rumor was that they planned to say their vows over the weekend, but they pulled the trigger Friday instead. Cavallari told Us Weekly in May that they planned to have a summer wedding.

The couple — who got engaged in April 2011, un-engaged in July of that year, then re-engaged that November — announced she was pregnant in late January 2012. Their son, Camden Jack Cutler, was born Aug. 8.

Cavallari recently had a "low-key" and "sophisticated" bridal shower, with only a few close friends attending (peep it in the video above). She told E! News at the time that her wedding head count would be around 135-140 guests — we'll have to see if it worked out that way, because details about the ceremony were unclear Friday.

Congrats to the couple!
