Conde Nast men's magazine Details has commissioned 20 members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, including Marc Jacobs, Billy Reid, and Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osbourne  -- the design duo behind Public School, which took home the CFDA Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent in Menswear earlier this week -- to create one-off custom weekender bags to benefit the CFDA's charitable efforts.

Each designer was asked to customize a standard-issue olive drab Army-Navy duffel bag bag, and the results will be up for auction (starting bid $75) from 8 a.m. PDT Monday through 8 a.m. PDT June 17 at, with 100% of proceeds going to the CFDA Foundation  a not-for-profit offshoot of the group that raises funds for charitable causes.

As one might expect the military motif was a popular one -- we particularly appreciate Mark McNairy's "Stripes" call-out, Michael Bastian's choice of embroidered patches and the way Todd Snyder approached things sideways.

Other designers lending their considerable talent to the cause include Rag & Bone, Duckie Brown, Tommy Hilfiger, Trovata, Robert Geller and Richard Chai.

This is the second fundraising partnership between the men's magazine and the CFDA, the first was the December 2012 auction of limited-edition pocket squares
