Oklahoma football Coach Bob Stoops' home was burglarized early Wednesday morning, with the thieves making off with a car and other smaller items, police said.
According to ESPN.com, the police department has leads in what it is considering a first-degree burglary.
Norman, Okla., police Lt. Eric Lehenbauer told the Oklahoman newspaper that several members of Stoops' family were home during the robbery, but no one was harmed.
It is not clear whether Stoops himself was at home at the time. He and several of his players were in Wichita, Kan., that evening for an OU Club of Wichita event.
The incident was reported at 8:30 a.m., when the family realized it had been robbed, but is believed to have taken place sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4:10 a.m.
