Update: The Sparks are trying to win two games in a row for the first time this season. Saturday, they set a franchise record for margin of victory (36 points) by beating San Antonio 84-48. The Lynx have won three games in a row and are in first place in the Western Conference, 1 1/2 games ahead of the second-place Sparks. The Lynx are led by Maya Moore, who is averaging 20.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists. When the teams met in the playoffs last season, the Lynx swept the Sparks, 2-0, in the Western Conference finals, before falling to Indiana in the WNBA finals.
