Record vs. Earthquakes (2012): 0-2-1.

Update: This is the Galaxy's first regular-season game this year with one of its main rivals in the Western Conference. Indeed, the Galaxy eliminated the Earthquakes in last year's conference semifinals on its way to a second consecutive Major League Soccer title. Landon Donovan, the Galaxy's all-time leading scorer, will be playing his last MLS game for a while because he'll spend most of July playing for the U.S. national team.
