What to eat on an AirIndia flight? So many choices

A friend planning a trip to India sent around a list of the food choices available on AirIndia. The number of choices is truly mindboggling. Who to be? Vegetarian Hindu, kosher, Moslem, vegetarian Oriental? Bland -- vegetarian or non-vegetarian?
