Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, possibly Hollywood's busiest couple, reportedly are together no more.
The two have split up and are living apart after almost three years of dating. "Taking a break" is how People described it in breaking the news from sources close to the couple. Their reps wouldn't comment to the mag about the situation.
They're still friends, but schedules got the best of them, the sources said.
"It's a lifestyle she couldn't handle anymore," a source told Us Weekly. "Work always, always came first [for Ryan]. She wants a more low-key life."
Seacrest, 38, is indeed always busy with "American Idol," various red carpets and his syndicated morning radio program, plus having a hand in shows like "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and all its spinoffs through Ryan Seacrest Productions. And Hough, a former "Dancing With the Stars" pro, has been seeing her acting career pick up with three films out in 2013, including "Safe Haven," out last month.
While Seacrest remained quiet on Twitter, Hough, 24, posted an Instagram photo of herself with Nina Dobrev and some other friends at the beach Sunday, with the hashtag #friendsarethebesttherapy.
Hough has had a bit of a rough time lately — three pieces of jewelry from Seacrest worth $100,000 were stolen from her car March 8, a Friday night, as she visited a friend in Hollywood, TMZ reported. Among the pieces was a watch worth $50,000, the site said.
