Rob Kardashian accused of hitting paparazzo, taking memory card

March 28, 2013|By Christie D'Zurilla

Rob Kardashian has been accused of hitting a photographer in the face and taking the memory card from her camera, authorities said Wednesday.

His motivation? It might have been shirtless photos reportedly captured on that memory card.

"The paparazzi alleged that while she was photographing Rob Kardashian, he grabbed her camera and removed the memory card," officials with the Beverly Hills Police Department said in a statement obtained by L.A. Now. "During the struggle, the paparazzi stated that she was struck in the face by Rob Kardashian."

Events went down in a West Hollywood gym's secured, members-only garage, according to TMZ. Sources told the website the photographer had pulled into the garage before the reality-TV star did, and started snapping photos of a shirtless Kardashian as he began changing into gym clothes. Cue the Incredible Hulk rage transformation.

The photo agency reportedly said that as he took off, Rob promised to pay for the card.

Kardashian, who looked fit by the end of the 13th season of "Dancing With the Stars," packed on the pounds in recent months since breaking up (or was it really even a relationship?) with singer Rita Ora. Of late he's been trying to shed the weight, but that doesn't mean he's ready for the world to see his bigger-is-better body just yet.

The investigation, police said, is ongoing.
