Update: Utah State is 31-1 since the 1957-58 season in season openers at home, and the Aggies have won 13 consecutive opening home games. The Aggies are entering the Mountain West Conference after spending eight seasons in the Western Athletic Conference and are one of five teams in the country — Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas and Syracuse being the others — to win at least 21 games in each of the last 14 seasons. Coach Stew Morrill's team has four starters back from last year's 21-10 squad.
