"Blue Is the Warmest Color": An article in the Nov. 21 issue of The Envelope said that actresses Lea Seydoux and Adele Exarchopoulos shared the acting prize at Cannes Film Festival this year. The "Blue Is the Warmest Color" actresses, along with their director, Abdellatif Kechiche, were awarded the festival's Palme d'Or. "Nebraska" actor Bruce Dern won the acting prize.

Fred Kavli: In the Nov. 23 LATExtra section, the obituary of Fred Kavli, a business owner and philanthropist who funded basic scientific research, said that Nobel Prize notification calls to researchers come from Oslo. The Peace Prize is announced from Oslo. Calls to Nobel winners in economics, literature and the science categories originate in Stockholm.

"Orange Is the New Black": An article in the Nov. 21 issue of The Envelope about Jenji Kohan, creator of the Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black," misspelled the last name of memoirist Piper Kerman, whose book the series is based on, as Kernan.
