Tony Bennett, the veteran pop-jazz crooner who’s going strong at age 86, will dive headlong into the blogosphere on Tuesday to mark the release of his live album “Tony Bennett Live at the Sahara: Las Vegas, 1964.” His entire Columbia Records catalog will become available for the first time in digital form on Tuesday.

The “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” singer will take part in an open forum question-answer session on Twitter, field more questions from fans via Facebook and will participate in a live video chat on HuffPost Live.

Questions for Bennett can be submitted ahead of time on Facebook and over Twitter using the hashtags #AskTony and #TonyDigitalDay. His interview session at HuffPost Live begins at 8:45 a.m Pacific time.

The 1964 Sahara live album had long been unavailable. It was included in the 2011 release of “Tony Bennett – The Complete Collection,” issued in conjunction with Bennett’s 85th birthday. Now it is being released as a stand-alone CD and digital album over iTunes.
