Orange County sheriff's officials asked for the public's help Wednesday in identifying a woman who was struck by a car and killed in 2005.

She was hit by a car on the night of Sept. 11, 2005, at Beach Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue in Stanton. She was taken to West Anaheim Medical Center, where she died, authorities said.

A sketch was released Wednesday in an effort to help identify her.

The woman, believed to be 19 to 30 years old, was described as 5-feet-3, 165 pounds with long, wavy brown and black hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a striped shirt, blue denim shorts, jeweled flip-flop sandals and a silver, bangle-type bracelet. The unidentified woman was in possession of a day bus pass from Lakewood. She had receipts from the Buena Park Mall and also had a Reggaeton 2005 music CD in her purse.

Anyone with information may call Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Coroner Division at (714) 647-7411. The case number is 05-06717-HO
