Update: The Sparks are in second place in the Western Conference, one game behind Minnesota with five games remaining in the season. The Sparks won the first game of their four-game trip against San Antonio on Saturday, beating the Silver Stars, 80-67. After playing at Atlanta, they play at Minnesota and Tulsa before returning home for a two-game homestand to close out the season. The Sparks have won three games in a row, and nine of their last 10. The Dream is in second place in the Eastern Conference, one game ahead of third-place Washington. The Dream has lost its last four games. When the teams played July 17, the Sparks beat the Dream, 77-73.
