Football: Kennedy players are still waiting for answers

September 15, 2013|By Eric Sondheimer

Granada Hills Kennedy football players are still waiting to learn who will be coaching the team after four coaches were temporarily relieved of their coaching responsibilities following an incident involving an injured player two weeks ago.

The Los Angeles Unified School District has been conducting an investigation. Kennedy players said no practices were held this past week. Kennedy forfeited a game scheduled for last Thursday against Grant.  The team is scheduled to play Granada Hills on Friday.

Varsity Coach Dion Lambert did not coach the Golden Cougars in their season opener against Birmingham.
