Update: This is the Galaxy's second game in the first stage of the CONCACAF Champions League tournament, and it will face Isidro Metapan, a team from El Salvador. CONCACAF is a federation of club teams mainly from North America and Central America, and the first stage of the event is divided into eight groups of three teams each. The Galaxy won its opening game in the tournament with a 2-0 victory over CS Cartagines of Costa Rica on Aug. 20 at StubHub Center. The Galaxy will travel to Costa Rica for the second game against Cartagines on Sept. 25, and then to El Salvador to face Isidro Metapan again Oct. 24. The Galaxy earned a berth in the tournament by winning its second consecutive Major League Soccer championship last year.
