Update: This is the third and final regular-season game between Chivas USA and San Jose. The teams tied their first game, 2-2, on April 27 at StubHub Center, and the Earthquakes won the second match, 2-0, on Aug. 3 in San Jose. Chivas USA remains in last place in Major League Soccer's Western Conference, but San Jose still has a chance to finish among the top five teams in the conference and make the playoffs. The Earthquakes were in seventh place entering Sunday's play but only four points behind the Galaxy and Colorado, who were tied for fourth.
