A 67-year-old Van Nuys skier who crashed into a tree at a Lake Tahoe resort has died, according to authorities.

The skier was identified by Fox40 as Marc L. Coleman.

The skier was injured Sunday while skiing on Rail Splitter, one of the advanced runs at Northstar Ski Resort, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.
