Dame Edna, who has said farewell to show business more times than Shia LaBeouf and Cher combined, will return to the Ahmanson as part of her "Dame Edna and Barry Humphries: The Final Farewell Tour." The production, which has already been seen in Australia and Great Britain, is set to run Jan. 24 through March 15, 2015, with an opening on Jan. 28.
"Cinderella" will come to the Ahmanson following its opening on Broadway last year. The production is set to run March 17 through April 26, 2015. The official opening is set for March 18, 2015.
As previously announced, "Matilda" will kick off its national tour at the Ahmanson with an engagement set for May 29 through July 12, 2015.
[Updated: a previous version of this post stated that "The Trip to Bountiful" was coming to the Ahmanson as part of a tour, based on information provided by a CTG spokeswoman. The spokeswoman later said that the production won't be a tour and is unique to L.A.]
