Update: The Lakers and Celtics, the most successful teams in NBA history, are almost mirror images in sadness, half a game separating them record-wise. The Lakers won in Boston last month, 107-104, when Pau Gasol had 24 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. The Celtics are only 8-19 on the road. The Lakers are 8-17 at home and have lost a team-record eight consecutive games at Staples.
