Investigators seized 200 marijuana plants and about 30 pounds of dried pot during a narcotics investigation in Lancaster, law enforcement officials said Wednesday night.

The stash was discovered Wednesday morning after Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department investigators served a search warrant at the home in the 4200 block of Westminster Way, according to department officials.

The owner of the home, Christopher Neelley, was arrested on suspicion of felony cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sales, officials said in a statement.

The investigation was launched after authorities at the department's Lancaster Station received an anonymous tip from the nonprofit Crime Stoppers program, which began in December 2009.

Since that time, Lancaster Station authorities have received nearly 500 tips that have led to 73 arrests, department officials said.
