A security guard and his alleged accomplice have pleaded not guilty to charges of murdering a Newhall market supervisor during a robbery in October, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. Vincente Godoy, 27, and Carmelo Corado, 40, are accused of fatally shooting store supervisor Luis Valdez, 32, and injuring assistant manager Teresa Cano during the Oct. 30 holdup of Tresierras market. About $4,200 was taken, police said.
