He may be known as "Meddling Mike" in the entertainment industry, but Walt Disney Co. Chairman Michael Eisner is hands-off when it comes to running the company's two professional sports teams. "There's this perception that Michael has his fingers in everything, but that's the farthest thing from the truth," said Tony Tavares, president of the Mighty Ducks and Angels. Teemu Selanne of the Mighty Ducks tested his injured groin, skating for 10 minutes Friday before heading to the dressing room. "I'm done now," said Selanne, who was injured last week against San Jose. "I tried to skate, but it didn't work. All week, I've dreamed about playing these last two games. I still thought I had some energy left. There's nothing I can do about it. It's frustrating." So ends perhaps Selanne's finest all-around season in the NHL.
