Hussein Abdurahman still had his Kalashnikov rifle slung over his shoulder when he strolled into the lobby of a downtown hotel and a government official asked him to put away his gun. "You are embarrassing the government," the man whispered. "I said to him, 'Shut up. You are not able to talk to me. Because you've been outside the country, and I've been here, keeping the country,' " said Abdurahman, a leader of the Kuwaiti resistance.
