If you are planning a trip to Hawaii, look into one of the programs that offers complimentary rental cars when you book rooms--including some condominiums--at regular rates. The deals generally include unlimited mileage, though you may face refueling charges if you don't bring the cars back with a full tank. Insurance and other coverages are optional. The cars are usually automatic compacts and subcompacts, and may come equipped with air-conditioning.
