Sports agents Norby Walters and Lloyd Bloom will be retried separately on charges that they used cash and violent threats to recruit college athletes as clients. Both were found guilty in 1989 after a five-week jury trial, but the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals reversed their convictions on racketeering and fraud charges in September.
