NBC funnywomen Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the Golden Globes next year. The gig will reunite the "SNL" alums. Already familiar with the ceremony with their respective TV shows - Fey is the creator and star of "30 Rock," which bids farewell this season, and Amy Poehler stars in "Parks and Recreation" - the friends will impart their comic talents as hosts of the movie and television fete. “Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup,” said Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming, NBC Entertainment.

The Simon Cowell baby drama is in full swing, and we haven't had this much fun with rampant rumors since Tiger Woods was grabbing the headlines - and not for golf . Cowell, of course, has allegedly impregnated New York socialite Lauren Silverman, estranged wife of New York real estate guy Andrew Silverman. Although whether they were estranged at the point of conception is a matter of some debate, along with who knew what when . Andrew was originally being identified as a "close friend" of "The X Factor" judge, which made the betrayal sting that much more, but this week we learned from the New York Daily News that he was friends with Simon only because of Lauren, which is a whole 'nother scenario.

I'm not sure exactly when Tina Fey became a certifiable star, but I do know why. It all begins with the face. Not the one that is glammed up, airbrushed and lighted to within an inch of its life that graces magazine covers these days. It's the other one that carries exhaustion around like a cranky toddler in the current box-office hit "Date Night"; the one that wakes up in Liz Lemon's apartment with drool on one cheek in NBC's " 30 Rock." It's a face that goes slack and open-mouthed in surprise at so much of life, more comfortable with no makeup, stacking up laugh lines like folding chairs after a Little League banquet.

Pauly D, of "Jersey Shore" fame, is looking forward to being a father to the baby girl he recently found out he fathered. And... drama's here! The spiky-haired DJ, real name Paul DelVecchio, revealed this week that he has a little girl named Amabella Sophia whom he fathered during an August 2012 fling with a woman who has been identified as Amanda Markert. PHOTOS: The Hollywood baby boom The woman, whom DelVecchio met while he was deejaying a gig at Las Vegas' Rehab nightclub, is reportedly a friend of one of his security team's girlfriends, E!

Pauly D has requested visitation with his recently revealed 5-month-old daughter, whom he had after a one-night stand, but he seems to be getting little official response from the child's mother. The "Jersey Shore" star's attorney had requested a two-week visitation with his baby girl beginning Wednesday, but the baby mama's attorney denied Pauly's ability see their child unsupervised, according to TMZ . What's a guy have to do to get a little bit of quality T-Shirt, er, Onesie Time?

Oxygen has evidently decided rapper Shawty Lo's busy personal life isn't worth the grief. The cable network confirmed Tuesday that it was pulling the plug on "All My Babies' Mamas," a controversial proposed special starring the flamboyant rapper, whose real name is Carlos Walker and who has 11 children by 10 different women. “As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special," a network representative said in a statement.

Rielle Hunter's nearly 10,000-word GQ interview plus cringe- inducing photo spread (think bare legs, surrounded by stuffed animals) hit the media fan this week, but as far as I'm concerned, the definitive work on John Edwards' mistress-turned-baby-mama appeared on this page nearly two years ago. In an August 2008, Op-Ed writer Sarah Miller explained how she made Hunter's acquaintance when Hunter moved into a rented room in Benedict Canyon that...

It's not often that box office-numbers send such a clear message to the electorate. But last week's top movies -- "Baby Mama" and "Harold and Kumar 2: Escape from Guantanamo Bay" -- make two things perfectly clear: Americans are desperate for a good laugh, and we'd better be very careful about who's running for vice president this year because sidekicks now officially rule the world.

Compiling my year-end lists always makes me realize how many areas there are in which I'm not an expert. Jazz, Latin music, down-tempo electronica, Finnish Christian mystical jams . . . there are so many icebergs out there, and I've hardly touched their tips. I do often wander into some specialized areas, however. One is kids' music. Since I am a mama, that stuff gets into my house and onto the stereo. My 5-year-old (happy birthday, Bebe!) is the kind of obsessive listener most kids become when they turn into tweens.

Allison Williams, one-quarter of the coming-of-age female confederation in HBO's "Girls," finds herself at the center of a heated discussion, at least among the show's modest but fervent audience: Is Marnie a bad friend? Or is Hannah a bad friend? The culturally polarizing comedy spent much of its debut season redefining sexual parameters and narcissism for the millennial generation. But friendships are at the core of the Lena Dunham-created series, and they're experiencing growing pains.
