Dashiell and Marya Talbot thought that their most pressing financial problem was the five-figure student loan debt that seemed to make home buying an impossibility. Then they learned that Marya was pregnant. The Los Angeles couple, both in their 30s, suddenly had a lot more doubt about their plans. Should they dip into savings to get rid of their debt? And were there things the Talbots - he's a lawyer, she's a costumer - hadn't considered yet? "It seems like the student loan debt is going to be with you for life," said Dashiell Talbot, who prefers the name Dash.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - By no means is Clippers Coach Doc Rivers going to let anyone simply out-recruit him for the services of forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis . After the Orlando Magic bought out Davis' contract Friday, it became clear that Rivers, who coached Davis with the Boston Celtics, and the Clippers strongly believe Davis will come to Los Angeles. But the Brooklyn Nets and their veterans Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce also are making a pitch for Davis. Rivers says he won't take for granted that Davis will be a Clipper if he clears waivers Monday and becomes an unrestricted free agent.

A 5-month-old baby was saved from suffocation on a Miami highway thanks to the quick thinking of a group of highway Good Samaritans. Traffic halted when a woman jumped out of her car calling for help for a baby boy who had turned blue. That's when humanity kicked into action, according to the Miami Herald. [Updated at 9:53 a.m. PST Feb. 21: "Baby Sebastian remains in critical but stable condition," a Florida hospital spokeswoman told the Los Angeles Times on Friday morning.

Hey, Christina Aguilera, quit hogging all the news for yourself! Not even a week after the singer-coach announced she was engaged, reports have hit saying she's pregnant with her second child.  Aguilera, 33, is expecting a baby with fiance Matthew Rutler, 29, according to Us Weekly , People and other outlets citing sources close to the situation. The couple is "really excited to take this next step!," People's source told the mag Thursday. "The Voice" coach will be taking off Season 6 of the show, which begins airing next week, with Shakira once again sitting in that bright red seat.

When facing oncoming floodwaters, ants use their helpless babies as floating life-preservers - by sticking them at the very bottom of the life rafts that they build with their own bodies. The findings, described in a paper published in PLOS One, reveal that ant-rafts have a fascinating internal structure - one that maximizes the group's buoyancy and thus, their chances of survival. But it does so by putting the young ant brood at the very bottom of the boat, exposed to hungry fish and the potential risk of drowning.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are new parents of a baby daughter! "Wanted to let the news out directly," Krasinski , 34, said early Sunday on Twitter . "Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday !" It's a first child for Blunt and her "The Office" star hubby, who got married in 2010 in Italy . They announced their engagement in August 2009 after dating since November 2008. They announced the pregnancy in September.  The " Looper " and "The Devil Wears Prada " actress, who turns 31 this week, celebrated the baby in advance at what a People magazine source called a "very casual" shower in December.

Simon Cowell was sharing the love over the weekend on Twitter, posting pics of Eric, his new son with girlfriend Lauren Silverman. "I never knew how much love and pride I would feel," read "The X Factor" judge's caption on the photo showcased above, in which Eric rests on his daddy's chest.  Two other black and white images went up Sunday: One, a straight-on shot of the new baby, is captioned, "…. now you can see how very handsome little Eric is. " The first one to go up, with Cowell cradling his son , shows "Mum, Dad and Eric.

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy is expecting a baby with girlfriend Meagan Camper, a model. First using the emojis saying "man + woman = baby," the bassist wrote Monday on Instagram , " we're super excited to announce we're expecting a baby!" With it he posted a shot of himself and Camper cuddling. The two have been together for three years and, according to an interview Wentz did in January with Wendy Williams , talk about marriage "a lot. " "It's really interesting when you're in a relationship with somebody who's truly your best friend," he said.

Simon Cowell raced across the Atlantic Ocean on Friday and it was worth the effort: His son with girlfriend Lauren Silverman was born in New York on Valentine's Day. Cowell, 54, hopped a jet in London after getting word that Silverman was in labor and arrived in the Big Apple in the early afternoon. The baby weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces, according to People and E! News . "Very happy to say Eric was born at 17.45pm. Healthy and handsome," Cowell tweeted Friday evening, explaining that the newborn was named after his own dad. "Lauren in great shape," he added . "He had a plane on standby for a week," a source told E!
