Molly O'Daniel Danielson, 74, Santa Barbara philanthropist and community leader. The daughter of former Texas Gov. W. Lee "Pappy" O'Daniel, she was the widow of Richard E. Danielson Jr. of International Harvester. In addition to Santa Barbara, Danielson had homes in Los Angeles and Miami. In California, she served on the board of United Way of Santa Barbara, Fairchild Tropical Garden and the American Red Cross. She was also on the board of Miami's Vizcaya Museum. On Monday in Santa Barbara.

Robert P. Lieb, 88, a veteran character actor on Broadway, television and film, died Saturday in Los Angeles of complications from intestinal surgery earlier this year. Lieb, who was a native of Pelham, N.Y., attended New York University before becoming an actor. He made his quiet debut on Broadway, he often joked, as a body falling out of a closet in the 1940s hit "Mr. and Mrs. North." Roles followed in the original casts of "Two Blind Mice" and "Inherit the Wind."

Bruce David Colen, who reviewed restaurants for Los Angeles magazine from 1974 to 1995, chronicling an era of emerging chefs and the city's growing culinary influence, has died. He was 81.
